ZARA LARSSON

After generating billions of streams, earning a bevy of multiplatinum certifications, and attracting an ardent global fan base, you’ve most definitely heard Zara Larsson. However, it’s time to really get to know her. In 2016, she asserted herself on the global stage as a vivid songwriter, vibrant voice, and vital force of nature. Leaving her imprint on pop, her platinum 2017 full-length, So Good, emerged as a phenomenon, becoming the “second-most-streamed debut on Spotify by a female artist ever.” Meanwhile, she consistently connected with listeners via the likes of the triple-platinum “Never Forget You” with MNEK and the platinum hits—“Lush Life,” “Ain’t My Fault,” and “Symphony” with Clean Bandit. Now a globally recognized superstar, she has notably collected trophies at the Swedish Grammy Awards, Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, and MTV EMAs. 2021 saw her release Poster Girl powered by “Ruin My Life,” “Wow,” and “Talk About Love” [feat. Young Thug]. Of the latter, HYPEBEAST proclaimed, “the energetic cut hears the pop artist on the same wavelength with the YSL Records head.” Beyond collaborations with everyone from David Guetta, Kygo, Tyga, Ty Dolla $ign, and Sabrina Carpenter, she’s the rare phenomenon who can perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert and virtually in Roblox, while earning the title of “cheeky feminist-next-door” from Teen Vogue. During 2022, she only maintained her momentum by teaming up with Alesso on “Words,” reeling in hundreds of millions of streams. Now, Zara fearlessly opens up like never before on her blockbuster 2023 third full-length offering and first album for her own Sommer House in partnership with Epic Records.

Christie Brinkey is widely recognized for her impactful philanthropic efforts, primarily focusing on enhancing education and community development for underprivileged individuals. She actively supports various organizations, including Teach for America, which addresses educational inequity, and Big Brothers Big Sisters, promoting mentorship as a vital tool for personal growth. Additionally, she contributes to community-building through her involvement with Habitat for Humanity, which provides affordable housing, and local food banks and health services aimed at alleviating poverty and improving health outcomes. Through these initiatives, Brinkey empowers individuals and fosters resilience, creating lasting positive change in the communities she serves.

Honorees

Christie Brinkley

Rollie Jordan, an Aspen, Colorado native, is a dynamic figure in the local community known for her vibrant personality, her love for real estate, Aspen fashion and active Aspen lifestyle. She brought smiles to everyone's face in passing, and to anyone who knew her. Growing up surrounded by the stunning Rocky Mountains, she developed a deep connection to nature and an adventurous spirit. She was an advocate for COSF and lost her battle to Ovarian Cancer. She was a dedicated and passionate committee member to COSF and served on the Aspen Snow Ball Committee from its inception. Even on her hardest of days, she wanted to push through to make a difference. As her illness took a toll she still showed up and mobilized troops, secured donations, and championed our mission. She would call me often, halfway in tears she would tell me "I can't imagine kids having what I have" and would push herself to get out of bed to knock on doors and make calls to ensure Aspen Snow Ball was a success. Rollie has become a cherished member of Aspen Community and resonates with all who knew her as a Community Leader. We are privileged to share her story on the Aspen Snow Ball stage to inspire us all in her loving memory.” — Thomas Pierce, Founding Chairman

About Aspen Snow Ball Week

Aspen Snow Ball Week is an annual event framed by our black-tie Aspen Snow Ball Gala. A week-long curation to champion community, compassion, and connectivity.

Aspen Snow Ball Week attracts influential philanthropists, powerful brands, and entertainers in the pursuit of one common goal to eradicate pediatric cancer. The gala boasts celebrity performances and celebrates honorees making humanitarian and philanthropic contributions aligned with our mission.

COSF funds the development, research, and programs of less toxic therapies for pediatric cancer patients across the nation. Since it’s inception in January 2023 COSF raised over $5 million dollars for pediatric cancer research and wellness programs. The foundation works directly with hospitals and established nonprofits to build partnerships with its core values in mind: transparency, community, and relevancy.

At the 2024 Aspen Snow Ball we announced the launch of an endowed fund The COSF Fund for Advancement in Wellness will ensure that critical support services are available in perpetuity, minimizing the impact of fiscal fluctuations with the COSF endowed fund for Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s Hospital Colorado.
